Ogunlade Lauds Wolekanle’s Capacity Building Drive After One Year
The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has extended warm congratulations to Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole on the occasion of his one-year anniversary in office as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, fondly known as Wolekanle, was appointed exactly a year ago by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde. Since his appointment, he has demonstrated exemplary leadership, steering the commission toward notable progress and reforms.
Speaking on the milestone, Hon. George Ogunlade described it as a moment of pride and privilege, emphasizing that having a personality of such caliber emerge from Ogbomoso North is a great honor to the local government. According to him, Wolekanle’s achievements within just one year reflect his dedication, competence, and passion for public service.
He further highlighted the remarkable strides recorded under Akinwole’s leadership, particularly in the areas of capacity building and staff development across the local government system. These efforts, he noted, have significantly strengthened the workforce and improved administrative efficiency within the state’s local government structure.
