2027: Bisi Oluranti Thanks Gov Makinde, Baba Saka Balogun, Other PDP Leaders After Securing Return Ticket
The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, also known as BOOM, has expressed profound gratitude to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for his continuous support over the years, particularly toward her electoral victory in the 2023 general elections and the opportunity to secure a return ticket to run for a second term under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement on Thursday following her adoption at the PDP stakeholders’ meeting held at the LGSC hall in the secretariat, Bisi Oluranti also commended PDP leaders in Ogbomoso North, especially Baba Saka Balogun, for their unwavering support in securing the return ticket, noting that the support will forever be appreciated.
She said PDP members in the constituency deserved commendation for standing by her through political struggles, and reiterated her commitment to the development of the constituency.
“It has not been easy since I assumed office, but with the support of leaders and members of the party, I have been able to facilitate constituency projects across several communities in Ogbomoso North, as well as different initiatives and empowerment programmes that are impactful.
“I am earnestly grateful for your continued support and for finding me worthy of a return ticket. I promise not to betray the trust placed in me. There are no winners and no losers. I will work closely with my colleagues to ensure that Ogbomoso North constituents, particularly members of our party, receive the dividends of democracy.”
The lawmaker however pledged to mend fences where she has fallen short, while appealing for continued support.
She prayed that God would continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde in leading the party to victory ahead of the 2027 general election.
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that during the stakeholders’ meeting, the governor promised to support Hon. Bisi Oluranti to ensure her electoral victory in the forthcoming election, while calling on all leaders in the constituency to support her in any way they can to secure victory.
