Unity, Progress, And The Road To 2027: Iroju Applauds Peaceful APC State Congress In Ondo

Rt. Hon. Ogundeji Iroju has extended his heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State for their commendable efforts in ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and uplifting State Congress. 

In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Iroju emphasised that the successful execution of the congress reflects the growing maturity, unity, and shared values within the APC in Ondo State. He expressed gratitude for the harmonious atmosphere that permeated the event, viewing it as a genuine reflection of compassionate leadership and a collective commitment to democratic ideals.

“This occasion sings of our party’s potential for unity and strength,” Iroju noted. “Our members have chosen their leaders in a spirit of progress, driven by the aspirations and hopes of our communities. This shared commitment gives us a strong footing for the challenges ahead.” 

He expressed a deep-seated optimism that Ondo State can achieve another remarkable 18:0 victory in the forthcoming 2027 general elections, highlighting that the bond within the party is the most solid groundwork for electoral success. According to him, when internal democracy flourishes, it nurtures the trust and confidence of the people.

The Rt. Hon. Iroju took a moment to celebrate the newly elected State Chairman, Babatunde Kolawole, seeing this as an opportunity to extend his warm congratulations to the entire State Executive Committee, as well as to the Local Government and Ward Executives across the state. He urged them to embody the principles of progressive governance, integrity, and accountability in all their endeavors.

“The mandate bestowed upon you is a sacred trust,” he affirmed. “Let it be guided by fairness, inclusiveness, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of our people. The future of our party and the trust of the electorate rely on dedicated and visionary leadership.”

As he aspires for a position in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Iroju reiterated his strong commitment to collaborating effectively with the newly inaugurated party executives to build party structures, deepen grassroots engagement, and champion the ideals of progressive governance. He stressed the importance of aligning personal ambition with the collective interest and supremacy of the party.

“Our path toward national representation must be founded upon unity, loyalty, and a shared vision,” he reaffirmed. “Together, we will build upon our successes and advance our beloved party for the betterment of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
