Ogo-Oluwa leadership passes vote of confidence in Gov. Makinde
The Executive Chairman of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, Seun Ojo Adesoye, alongside key political functionaries, supervising councillors, over 90% of ward councillors, Special Advisers (SAs), the Local Government Secretary (both main council and LCDA), and the Chief of Staff, have collectively passed a Vote of Confidence in the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde.
The stakeholders, who visited the chairman’s residence, praised Makinde’s administration as impactful, people-oriented, and development-driven.
They reaffirmed their loyalty, stating their support remains “total and unshaken,” likening their dedication to Ruth and Naomi’s biblical relationship.
According to a statement made available to MOUTHPIECE NGR on Thursday, “This unified declaration reflects their unwavering support for the Makinde-led administration, which they described as impactful, people-oriented, and development-driven across Oyo State.
“The leaders reaffirmed their loyalty and commitment, stating that their support for the Governor remains total and unshaken. They likened their dedication to the biblical relationship between Ruth and Naomi, emphasizing: “Where you go, we will go.”
In the same vein, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola (SMATO), representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, also aligned with this position, pledging continued support for the administration across both Ogo-Oluwa and Surulere Local Governments.
The stakeholders further stressed that in today’s political landscape, aligning with visionary and result-oriented leadership is essential, noting that Governor Makinde has demonstrated the capacity to lead with direction and purpose.
As preparations gradually begin toward the 2027 general elections, the leadership described Governor Makinde as a mentor and symbol of progressive governance, reaffirming their readiness to continue supporting his political direction for the advancement of the state.
