NDLEA Mourns Loss of Deputy Commander, DCN Salaam Moroof Babatunde

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Oyo State Ambassador was duly represented at the final burial ceremony of Late DCN Salaam Moroof Babatunde, Deputy Commander of Narcotics.

‎The NDLEA Oyo State Spokesman, Jejelola Opeyemi, who was among the representatives of the Oyo State Ambassador, disclosed this in a statement issued in Oyo town on Friday, 6th March 2026.

‎The solemn occasion brought together family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who gathered to pay their last respects and celebrate the life and legacy of the late officer.

‎The Deputy Commander of Narcotics, Adesina Omolara, who led the representatives, conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, describing the late DCN Salaam Moroof Babatunde as a dedicated officer who served with commitment and integrity.

‎The ceremony reflected the deep respect and admiration held for the late officer, whose contributions and service will be remembered by colleagues and the community.

‎The NDLEA Zone 9, Oyo/Osun Zonal Commander, ACGN Obaniyi Sylvester; Osun State Commander, CN Olayinka Joe-Fadile, Oyo State Commander, CN Adetula O. Lawal; Deputy Zonal Commander, CN Adeosun Oluwakemi; and Oyo State Deputy State Commander, DCN Bhadmus Sulaiman, ACN. Asiru Tirilope were among the dignitaries who attended the ceremony.
