Makinde’s Transport Initiative: Wale Canada, Applauds People-Oriented Governance

Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada and member representing Atisbo/Saki East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for approving ₦10,000 transport support for workers across the state.

Gbadamosi, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Health, described the initiative as a timely and strategic intervention aimed at alleviating the transportation burden faced by workers amid prevailing economic challenges.

According to the lawmaker, the policy underscores the governor’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing the welfare and well-being of the people of Oyo State. He noted that the transport support scheme will not only ease the financial strain on civil servants but also enhance productivity and overall morale within the workforce.
