Hon. Rotimi Celebrates Birthday, Gifts N5,000 to 100 Ogbomoso South Constituents

To mark his birthday and in the spirit of giving back to the society, Hon. Rotimi Oladipupo, the former Director General of Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election campaign in 2023, has distributed N5,000 each to about 100 people in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area.

The distributions were made on February 10, 2026, in commemoration of his birthday anniversary.

During the distribution, Hon. Oladipupo explained that the gesture was aimed at supporting the less privileged in celebration of his birthday.

He noted that the beneficiaries included vulnerable community members and party faithful who have consistently supported him.

Oladipupo equally acknowledged their daily struggles in the current economic climate and expressed hope that the support, though modest, would make a difference.

He said: “I am truly grateful to God for another year and the opportunity to serve. I appreciate the love and support from my leader, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, H.E, Engr Seyi Makinde, and our party members.

“This gesture is part of my ways of giving back to society. I’ll continue to support my people in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area in any capacity. So, I encourage the recipients to remain steadfast as we work together for a better Ogbomoso South.”

Speaking with one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Oyekale Ayobami, PDP chairman of Akata ward, expressed gratitude to Hon. Oladipupo, describing him as a generous man always ready to serve.

He thanked him for the donation, which he said would provide relief to the vulnerable in Ogbomoso South, especially those in his immediate community.

Ayobami also thanked Governor Seyi Makinde and Chief of Staff Segun Ogunwuyi for giving Hon. Oladipupo the opportunity to serve.

Mrs. Aduola Grace, from Oke Olla/Farm Settlement, who was also a beneficiary, however thanked Hon. Oladipupo, attributing the gesture to the support of Governor Makinde and Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi.

“We need more people like him; may God continue to bless him,” she added.

The event was attended by the executive chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Oyeniyi Oyedokun; PDP party chairman of Ogbomoso South; PDP state executive, Hon. Taiwo Akano; and other dignitaries.
