Time passes, legacy remains: Hon. Temi Adibi Remembered- Hon. George Ogunlade
Today marks one year since the passing of Hon. Temi Adibi, a man whose life of service, humility, and commitment to the progress of Ogbomoso North continues to resonate deeply within our hearts and our local government.
On behalf of the government and good people of Ogbomoso North Local Government, I join family members, friends, political associates, and the entire Ogbomoso community in remembering a leader who lived beyond self and dedicated his life to the collective good.
Hon. Temi Adibi was more than a public servant; he was a bridge-builder, a voice of reason, and a man of uncommon humility. Despite his achievements and influence, he remained simple, accessible, and deeply rooted in the values of respect and service. His approach to leadership was guided by sincerity, compassion, and an unwavering belief in unity and development.
Even in his absence, the impact of Hon. Adibi’s contributions continues to shape our governance and community life. His counsel, wisdom, and passion for grassroots development remain a reference point for many of us in leadership today. He exemplified what it means to serve with integrity and to lead with empathy.
As a local government, we acknowledge the vacuum his departure created, but we also celebrate the enduring legacy he left behind—one that challenges us to do better, to serve more selflessly, and to place the interest of our people above all else.
On this solemn anniversary, we pray that Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest and continues to strengthen his family and loved ones. May the life of Hon. Temi Adibi remain a source of inspiration to current and future generations of leaders in Ogbomoso North and beyond.
Though he is gone, his values live on.
Ogbomoso North remembers.
Ogbomoso North honors.
Ogbomoso North will never forget.
