Oyo Deputy Gov a true leader— Itesiwaju PDP leaders 

Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Itesiwaju Local Government Area have praised Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, for his sterling leadership. 

They highlighted his leadership skills, administrative abilities, and his positive relationships with party members in the Oke-ogun zone.

Speaking after a meeting with the Deputy Governor at his residence in Kishi on Thursday, Hon. Muibi Wasiu, the overall youth leader in Itesiwaju Local Government Area, along with other party executives, stated that Barr. Lawal’s approachability was the reason they gathered to celebrate the New Year with him.

He affirmed their unwavering loyalty to Governor Makinde and his deputy, Barr. Lawal, who is the party’s leader in the Oke-ogun zone. 

Wasiu noted the significant positive impact of Governor Makinde’s administration on the people of the Oke-ogun zone, with improvements seen across all federal constituencies.

“In Itesiwaju Local Government, we are fully committed to Governor Makinde and will continue to support him. If he decides to run for the presidency, we will mobilize in large numbers to campaign for him, as Itesiwaju Local Government is entirely behind him,” Wasiu declared.

Hon. Wasiu also commended the Oyo Deputy Governor for hosting the New Year celebration, which brought everyone together, and described him as the foremost leader of the party in the Oke-ogun zone. 

He offered prayers for the Deputy Governor’s continued success, emphasizing his effective leadership in the Oke-ogun zone. 

The Itesiwaju leaders traveled for about three hours to celebrate the New Year with him.

Also present at the meeting were Adeleye Sarat, the local women’s leader; Olayiwola Najimudeen, Ward 9 chairman; Azeez Jimoh Olaniyi, the leader of the party; and other key figures.
