Irepo First Lady, Idiat Olayiwola Presents Cash, Gifts to First Babies of 2026
The First Lady of Irepo Local Government Area, Alhaja Idiat Adenike Olayiwola, has presented cash and gifts to the first six babies born in Irepo Local Government Area in 2026.
The babies were born in various hospitals across Irepo between midnight and 12:30 AM on Thursday.
At Olorunsogo Hospital, Mufutau Abiba delivered a baby boy. At Molete Maternity Hospital, Ismail Ayisat and Lukumo Ayisat each gave birth to baby girls. Also, Abibu Ayisat at Ajagba Maternity, and Abudu Ganiyu Rukayat and Isa Wasilat delivered a baby boy and girl, respectively.
The wife of the Irepo Local Government Chairman, Alhaja Olayiwola, congratulated the mothers and their families.
She described the births as a positive start to the year, noting that the annual gifts reflect the state government’s dedication to the welfare of mothers and newborns, especially in primary healthcare.
Mrs. Olayiwola however encouraged expectant mothers to use government health facilities for safe deliveries.
She assured that the gifts would support the mothers and newborns and that Irepo LG would continue to work with the state government to improve access to quality healthcare.
Those present were Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs, Yeye Fauziyat Adenike; wife of Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Alhaja Fauziyat Adeosu; wife of party chairman, Mrs Morike Olawoyin, all political functionaries in Irepo Local Government Area, and a host of others.
