As Oyo State celebrated its 50th anniversary, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, led a remarkable initiative to bring healthcare closer to the people. In a bid to mark this golden jubilee, the local government organized a free medical outreach, ensuring that residents had access to essential health checks and consultations.

Hon. Ogunlade expressed his profound appreciation to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his unwavering commitment to the well-being of Oyo State’s citizens. “Health is wealth,” the chairman noted, emphasizing that the governor’s proactive approach to healthcare has truly put the people first. 

The outreach event saw an overwhelming turnout as residents of Ogbomoso North came out to benefit from free consultations, screenings, and medical advice, demonstrating their eagerness to prioritize health.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ogunlade praised the collaboration between government and citizens, highlighting that the initiative was not only a celebration of Oyo State @50 but also a step toward building a healthier, more resilient community.

The event offered services ranging from blood pressure checks, diabetes screenings, and general consultations to health education. Attendees expressed their gratitude, noting how such initiatives make quality healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of social or economic background.
