SMATO felicitates Gov. Makinde on birthday
Oyo lawmaker representing Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Sunday Makanjuola (Smato), has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his 58th birthday, praising his visionary leadership and commitment to people-oriented governance.
In a statement on Thursday, Smato commended Makinde’s efforts in promoting peaceful coexistence, infrastructural development, and policies improving residents’ quality of life.
“Governor Makinde’s style of governance reflects vision, inclusiveness, and commitment to Oyo State’s welfare,” Smato said.
He urged Makinde to remain steadful in listening to the people’s yearnings, especially the vulnerable, and strengthening policies promoting unity, justice, and sustainable development.
Smato however described Makinde as a forthright leader dedicated to service, accountability, and inclusive development, highlighting achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and local government administration.
He noted that Makinde’s birthday, coinciding with Christmas, symbolizes selfless service, sacrifice, and compassion.
The lawmaker added that Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency and Ogbomoso have benefited from Makinde’s developmental initiatives and grassroots governance support.
