Oke-LEGACY attends PDP Leaders’ Meeting, donates ₦1.2m, awards 100 scholarships

Member, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa Oke-LEGACY, Ph.D, made a notable appearance at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Leaders’ Meeting held at the Party House, Ajagungbade Plaza , where he reaffirmed his commitment to the party and the welfare of the people.

Addressing party leaders and stakeholders at the meeting on Saturday, Dec. 20th, Hon. Oke emphasized that the people remain his primary concern, assuring party members of his continued support and loyalty to the PDP and its leadership.

In a strong demonstration of support for the party’s grassroots structure, Hon. John Adisa Oke made significant donations to strengthen unity and mobilization across the local government. He donated ₦1,000,000, which amounts to ₦100,000 for each of the ten wards, along with an additional ₦200,000 to the PDP Executive Committee, bringing the total donation to ₦1,200,000. Furthermore, he provided chickens for all Ward Chairmen, as well as the Local Women Leader and Youth Leader, in appreciation of their dedication and service to the party.

Reinforcing his commitment to education and human capital development, Hon. Oke announced the award of 100 three-year NCE free tuition scholarships across the five local governments, with 20 beneficiaries selected from each local government to support students pursuing teacher education.

Hon. John Adisa Oke also assured party leaders, ward executives, and stakeholders across the ten wards of his readiness to continue working closely with them to strengthen the PDP and promote unity, development, and progress at the grassroots level.

He concluded by calling for collective responsibility, unity of purpose, and sustained loyalty, noting that a stronger PDP is essential for delivering meaningful development to the people.
