Ogbomoso North LG Chairman Mourns PDP Chieftain, Prince Garuba Tewogbola

The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Governmen, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of a prominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Prince Garuba Tewogbola, popularly known as Alhaji Cashman, describing his death as a great loss to the party and the entire Ogbomoso community.

In a condolence message released on behalf of the local government, the chairman said the late Prince Garuba was a devoted party leader, grassroots mobilizer, and community builder whose contributions to the growth of the PDP in Ogbomoso North would remain unforgettable.

According to him, Prince was a man of peace and influence who dedicated his life to the service of humanity, party loyalty, and the development of Ogbomoso. He noted that the vacuum created by his demise would be difficult to fill, especially within the PDP structure at the local level.

“The death of Prince Garuba Tewogbola, fondly called Alhaji Cashman, is not only a loss to the PDP family but also to Ogbomoso North Local Government and the entire Ogbomoso land. He was a dependable leader, a bridge builder, and a strong pillar of support to many,” the chairman said.

The council boss extended his heartfelt condolences to the Tewogbola family, PDP leaders and members, and the people of Ogbomoso, praying that Almighty God grants the deceased eternal rest and gives his loved ones the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

He urged party members and the community to uphold the values of unity, dedication, and service which the late PDP chieftain stood for during his lifetime.
