How are the mighty fallen— Dele Momodu slams Wike, praises Makinde’s survival
According to our report, ADC chieftain Dele Momodu has reacted to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s recent media chat, alleging that former Rivers State Governor and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike exploited members of the G5 governors for personal political gain.
In an Instagram post, Momodu claimed Wike benefited disproportionately while others suffered setbacks: “WIKE systematically wasted the future of three members, while Makinde escaped because of his good work in Oyo State. WIKE was the sole beneficiary of the largesse thrown at them.”
He further highlighted that some former governors lost senatorial elections and were later offered ambassadorial roles far below their previous status, noting, “How are the mighty fallen!”
The post accompanied a video of Makinde’s interview, in which the governor addressed his political differences with Wike and confirmed he would not support President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
