Prince Olaoye, an Ogbomoso‑born businessman and grassroots politician, passed away in the early hours of Monday.
In a condolence message issued on Tuesday, Hon. Bisi Oluranti portrayed the late Baba Cashman as a cornerstone of the PDP in Ogbomoso and a relentless grassroots mobilizer who dedicated his life to bolstering the party’s presence at the ward, local‑government, and community levels.

Hon. Bisi Oluranti noted that the deceased was a loyal party man whose political journey was marked by sacrifice, commitment and an unwavering belief in democracy, unity and people‑oriented leadership.
She said his death is a huge loss not only to the PDP but also to Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large.
The lawmaker however extended her condolences to the bereaved family and to PDP leaders and members in Ogbomoso North, praying that God grant them fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and bestow eternal rest upon the departed.
