AGSO ’95 Set Alumni Celebrates 30 Years with Landmark Donations to Anglican Grammar School in Ogbomoso
Anglican Grammar School, Ogbomoso, was filled with joy, nostalgia, and gratitude as the AGSO ’95 Set Alumni celebrated their 30th anniversary with over N10m in a remarkable and impactful way on Sunday.
The reunion brought together old students, teachers, principals, and friends of the school to celebrate three decades of shared history and growth.

The anniversary celebration, themed “Presentation of Computer Desktops to Our Alma Mater,” reflected the alumni’s commitment to giving back and supporting the academic development of the school that shaped their futures.
While speaking, Hon. Onilede Solomon, the President of the AGSO ’95 Set Alumni, paid tribute to the teachers and principals whose dedication laid the foundation for the alumni’s success.
He recognized retired teachers, commending them for attending the celebration. He also expressed deep appreciation to alumni members, both at home and abroad, whose support made the 30th-anniversary celebration a success.
Adding excitement to the event, Hon. Onilede announced a ₦50,000 giveaway, rewarding participants who correctly remembered the names of teachers and their subjects, rekindling memories and strengthening bonds.
As part of the celebration, the AGSO ’95 Set Alumni presented significant gifts to their alma mater, a cash gift of N1m to teachers who were present, including 10 computer desktops worth over N8m and tables, to enhance learning and promote digital education.
The event also honored retired teachers and principals for their service and contributions to Anglican Grammar School.
The principal, Mr. Olowe, however expressed gratitude for the donations, and Mr. Ogundola, speaking for the retired male teachers, thanked God for the alumni’s success.
On her part, Mrs. Ogundare, leading the retired female teachers, commended the alumni for shaping the future of current students.
The 30th anniversary was a reminder of gratitude, legacy, and service, demonstrating the enduring bond between Anglican Grammar School and its old students.
