Oke LEGACY commends PDP, Gov. Makinde on successful national convention
Member of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa-Oke LEGACY, Ph.D, has commended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Seyi Makinde for the successful conduct of the party’s Elective National Convention held, yesterday, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Oke described the convention as a landmark achievement for Nigeria’s opposition politics, noting that its peaceful and transparent conduct reflects the PDP’s deep-rooted commitment to democracy, unity, and progress.
According to him, “The convention once again reaffirms PDP’s position as the most organized, people-centered, and forward-looking political party in Nigeria.
“I commend His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for providing purposeful leadership and for hosting such a historic and well-coordinated event here in Oyo State. This success belongs to every true democrat who believes in the future of our great party.”
Hon. Adisa-Oke also congratulated Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja on his emergence as the new National Secretary, expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen party structures and reposition the PDP ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He called on all members to remain united and focused on the collective vision of restoring good governance and people-oriented leadership across Nigeria.
