OJA Commends Governor Makinde’s Empathy, Road Infrastructure Drive in Ogbomoso
…Applauds Conversion of 67 Security Guards to Adhoc LAUTECH Workers
Dr. Oluwafemi Joshua Ayoola (OJA), aspirant for the House of Representatives, Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency, has lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his renewed commitment to infrastructural and human capital development in Ogbomosoland.
Dr. Ayoola particularly commended the governor’s plan to commence the construction of 22 strategic inner roads within Ogbomoso, describing it as “a timely intervention that will unlock economic opportunities, enhance mobility, and improve the standard of living for residents across the zone.”
He also praised the governor’s compassionate leadership for increasing the monthly allowance of the 67 non-staff security personnel at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso from ₦18,000 to ₦80,000 and converting them into ad-hoc employees of the hospital.
_“Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated empathy and purposeful governance. His decision to uplift the welfare of the 67 security guards and officially integrate them into the hospital system shows a deep sense of humanity and fairness. These workers, who have diligently protected the institution for years, now have renewed dignity and a sense of belonging,”_
Dr. Ayoola stated.
Dr. Ayoola also acknowledged the governor’s effort to strengthen healthcare delivery by increasing the hospital’s monthly subvention by ₦35 million and setting up a Governing Council to ensure improved management efficiency and staff welfare.
He emphasized that the 22 inner roads project will have far-reaching socioeconomic impacts, enhancing access to markets, easing transportation, and stimulating business activities across Ogbomosoland.
_“The inner roads are arteries of economic expansion. They will connect communities, open up new residential and commercial areas, and boost the overall productivity of our people. Governor Makinde’s vision for Ogbomoso will undoubtedly foster inclusive growth,”_ he added.
Dr. Ayoola concluded by describing Governor Makinde as a “God sent, listening leader” who continues to deliver governance with empathy, foresight, and a genuine commitment to development. He expressed optimism that Ogbomoso’s economic revival is imminent under such progressive leadership.
