Ogunlade pledges support for community policing, donates to PCRC building renovation 

In a heartwarming display of commitment to community policing and security, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, has donated a substantial amount of money to support the renovation of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) building at Owode police station. 

This generous gesture underscores his dedication to fostering a strong partnership between the police and the community.

The donation was received with gratitude by the Chairman of the PCRC, Chief (Dr.) Ademola Orunmila JP, and the DPO of the station, Mr. Oyelumade Julius. 

Chief Orunmila expressed his profound appreciation for Hon. Ogunlade’s unwavering support, noting that the Chairman has consistently delivered on his promises since assuming office. “We are grateful for Hon. George leadership and vision in promoting community policing and security in Ogbomoso,” he said.

Mr. Oyelumade Julius, the DPO, also commended Hon. George Ogunlade for being a listening ear and for his support towards the police station. 

“His commitment to community policing is evident in his actions, and we appreciate his efforts in bridging the gap between the police and the community,” Mr. Oyelumade stated.

Hon. George Ogunlade thanked the PCRC members for their support and promised to continue working hand-in-hand with them to ensure the safety and security of the community. 

He also appreciated the Head of Local Government, Prince Olawuyi Paul, Director of Finance, Mr. Olatunbosun Femi, and Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs. Bose Atiba, for their support.
