The Acting Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has confirmed that all arrangements are in place for the upcoming coronation of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the Olubadan of Ibadanland. 

The coronation is scheduled to hold on Friday at the Mapo Hall.

During an inspection visit to the venue on Thursday, Barr. Lawal stated that the event will be attended by dignitaries, including the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governors, former governors, senators, captains of industry, ministers, clergy, and notable stakeholders across the country.

The Acting Governor expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, noting that the event planner, Phines, had done an excellent job. 

He assured that all necessary measures, including security, have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free event.

However, in his goodwill message, Barr. Lawal prayed that the enthronement of Oba Rashidi Ladoja will usher in peace, stability, and prosperity in Oyo State. 

He expressed confidence that the coronation will be a grand success, given the caliber of attendees and the meticulous arrangements in place.
