Oke LEGACY congratulates Oba Rashidi Ladoja on coronation as 44th Olubadan

Member of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa-Oke LEGACY, Ph.D, has congratulated former Governor of Oyo State, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement issued on Friday, Oke LEGACY described Oba Ladoja as a “rare statesman, visionary leader, and revered elder whose ascension to the revered stool of the Olubadan is a blessing not only to Ibadanland but to the entire Oyo State and Nigeria at large.”

He recalled the contributions of Oba Ladoja to the political an socio-economic development of Oyo State, particularly during his tenure as Governor, noting that his passion for equity, fairness, and justice continues to inspire leaders across generations.

According to him, the installation of Oba Ladoja as Olubadan is a moment of pride and joy for the Yoruba as a nation.

“Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has consistently demonstrated wisdom, courage, and humility in service to our people. His coronation as the 44th Olubadan is not just a personal honor but a divine blessing for the ancient city of Ibadan. We believe his reign will usher in peace, unity, and prosperity for Ibadanland and beyond,” the statement read.

Oke LEGACY further expressed optimism that the reign of the new monarch will consolidate the cultural heritage and traditional values of Ibadanland while also supporting the ongoing development agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.

He prayed for Oba Ladoja’s long life, sound health, and a glorious reign, reaffirming his commitment to working with traditional institutions in Oyo State to strengthen peace and progress at the grassroots.
