Ido PDP Congratulates Newly Elected State Excos, Lauds Gov. Makinde’s Leadership

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ido Local Government, led by Chairman Alhaji Musibau Emiola, has extended warm congratulations to the newly elected PDP Oyo State Executive members.

Recall that the state congress, held on September 29, 2025, at the Adamasingba Sports Complex, Ibadan, produced Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro as the new Chairman, along with other executives.

In a congratulatory message signed by its chairman, Alhaji Musibau Emiola (Emma), and made available to newsmen on Monday through its party secretary, Abiodun Fadeyibi, the party commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the smooth conduct of the congress, praising his leadership and maturity in fostering unity within the party.

He noted that the emergence of the new leadership is a positive step towards strengthening the PDP’s internal democracy and enhancing its readiness for future political engagements.

While congratulating the new executive team, Alhaji Emiola prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and impactful leadership throughout their tenure.

He charged the new officers to deepen party structures across the 33 local government areas, mobilize grassroots support, and deliver on the PDP’s core mandate of good governance and people-centered development.

The party chairman also extended special gratitude to Otunba Seye Famojuro, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, and other party leaders for their support in Alhaji Akinsola Ayuba’s election as State Auditor.

He expressed confidence that Alhaji Ayuba would deliver on the PDP’s mandate, further strengthening the party’s unity and responsiveness to the people’s needs.
