Congress: Hon. George Ogunlade Commends PDP Stakeholders in Ogbo North, Lauds Gov Seyi Makinde’s Leadership
The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has heap-praised the stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the local government over the peaceful conduct of the ward congress which was held across the council area on September 13th, 2025.
Hon. Ogunlade, while speaking with newsmen shortly after the exercise, lauded the leadership style of Governor Seyi Makinde, which he noted has continued to promote peace, unity, and inclusiveness within the PDP in Oyo State.
The congress, which was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was adjudged free, fair, and transparent, as party members trooped out in large numbers to participate in the democratic process.
Stakeholders and leaders present at the exercise included Bashroun Akinwale Akinwole Solomon, Alh. Razaq Gbadegesin Agbeti, Engr. Open Salawu, Engr. Rabiu Bello, Alh. Adijat Oritoke Rainbow, Alh. Kabir Ayoade, Hon. Lanre Odua, Prince Tewogbola Garuba (Cash Man), Hon. Sunday Bankole, Hon. Jide Oketunbi, Comr. Lekan Ayorinde, Actor Hon. Damilare Olusanjo, Bsqure Baba Ajibesin, Hon. Bolanle Olaniyi Omooseparo, Hon. Kemi Alabi Oloriagba, Hon. Timothy Adeleke, Alh. Hamzat Ibrahim, Hon. John Adisa Oke (represented by Hon. Sangolade Joseph), Engr. Abu Salam (represented by Elder Sola Ajagbe), and Baba Abdulsalam (Moyiwin), among others.
Hon. Ogunlade stressed that the peaceful outcome of the congress was a testament to Governor Makinde’s commitment to internal democracy, adding that Ogbomoso North PDP remained united, strong, and ever ready to support the governor’s developmental agenda for the state.
He also commended party faithfuls for their large turnout, assuring that the PDP in Ogbomoso North Local Government will continue to work collectively to ensure the party’s dominance in future elections.
