Oyo majority leader congratulates Gov. Makinde, Oyekunle on electoral victory

Hon.Sanjo Adedoyin, the Majority leader of the Oyo State  of Assembly and the honorable representing the good people of Ogbomoso South state constituency, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State state, His Excellency Eng. Seyi MaKinde and the newly elected members of Federal House of Representatives Hon. Folajinmi  Oyekunle a.k.a DON  on the success and electoral victory in the just concluded rerun for the Ibadan North Federal constituency.

This was contained a statement released this morning by Hon. Adedoyin through his Senior Legislative Assistant on Media Strategy and Public Communication Mr. Aremu Mikky Adeyemi.

He noted that the electoral victory of Hon. Folajinmi aka DON as member of Federal House of Representatives yesterday is a testament to leadership qualities, qualitative and quantitative performance and issues based campaign of Eng.Seyi Makinde as the Governor of Oyo State and acceptability of the great party by the downtrodden masses couple with the transparent manner the candidate emerge.

He added that the victory was as also a result of the party grassroots mobilization and the trust the good people of Ibadan North Federal constituency have in Hon. Folajinmi Oyekunle representation as a tested and trusted member of the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly.  

According to Sanjo, this electoral victory of Hon. Folajinmi did not come as a surprise to some of us who know or work with him. As a former colleague in the 9th Oyo Assembly, he was one of the leading light and torch bearer who was committed to the success of assembly through his eloquency, vibrancy, commitment and hard work.

He stated: “The election of Hon Folajinmi aka DON MHR comes with attendant lesson for the political class that whatever we do no matter how it’s small is been notice by those who matters and nothing pays more than commitment and loyalty in politics.

“As a former colleague I am sure that Hon. Folajinmi will bring a new Vista to Ibadan North Federal constituency as evidenced when he was representing the same state in the 9th Assembly,” the statement concluded.
