Ogbomoso North Chairman hosts party excos, harps on unity
The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Hon. George Ogunlade, has hosted the PDP Party Chairman, Hon. Hamzat Ibrahim, and EXCOs in his office.
The meeting, which aimed to strengthen party unity, comes amid speculations of potential rifts within the party.
The development contained in a statement released by the chairman’s media unit and made available to MOUTHPIECE NGR on Wednesday.
Ogunlade, who was the party chairman before elected as the council boss, emphasized the importance of unity within the party.
He said: “What matters most to me is the progress of our party,” PDP is one in Ogbomoso North, and we must work together to achieve our goals.
The chairman urged Hon. Hamzat Ibrahim to continue leading the party with a unified vision, rather than allowing factionalism to divide them.
According to him, the party chairman must stand firm as a unifying force, rather than allowing factional interests to dictate the party’s direction.
However, in his In response, Hon. Hamzat Ibrahim expressed gratitude to the Council boss and the EXCOs for their support and commitment to the party’s unity.
He reaffirmed his dedication to leading the party with a focus on progress and unity, emphasizing the importance of standing together as one.
