Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa State – A Nigerian soldier has been accused of brutally beating a young phone repairer to death after his girlfriend complained about a delayed phone repair, sparking widespread fury. 

What Happened?

The victim, Alkasum Ibrahim, a phone technician, was repairing a woman’s phone when the delay angered her.

She allegedly called her boyfriend, Lance Corporal Ahmada A., who stormed the shop and viciously assaulted Alkasum.

The attack left the young man unconscious, and he later died from his injuries.
