Gov. Makinde Deserves This Honour” — Irepo LG Chairman, Hon. Olayiwola Celebrates Governor, Wife on Akure Chieftaincy Titles

The Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Her Excellency Tamunominini Makinde, on their recent conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Omoluabi of Akure Land, respectively.

Hon. Olayiwola described the honour bestowed on the First Family by the Akure Kingdom as a well-deserved recognition of their integrity, humility, and impactful leadership style that continues to resonate beyond the boundaries of Oyo State.

In his words, “Governor Makinde deserves this honour. His style of governance reflects the true spirit of an Omoluabi—selfless, noble, and deeply committed to the wellbeing of his people. The title only affirms what we already know and appreciate about his personality and service.”

He further praised the First Lady, noting that her role in complementing the Governor’s strides has not gone unnoticed, describing her as “a quiet achiever whose motherly presence and passion for social welfare initiatives embody the essence of Yeye Omoluabi.”
