Aare Omoluabi: Oyo Hajj Chairman Congratulates Gov. Makinde, Lauds His Visionary Leadership
The Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muslim Wing, Sheik Hashim Atere, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife, Tamunominini Makinde, on their conferment of the revered titles of Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
Atere, in a statement on Saturday, described the conferment as a fitting recognition of Governor Makinde’s commitment to public service, exemplary governance, and transformational leadership.
He praised the Governor’s approach to redefining traditional institutions’ roles in governance and community development, noting that it was worthy of emulation nationwide.
The chairman equally commended Governor Makinde for championing legal and structural reforms that have restored dignity and relevance to traditional rulers in Oyo State.
He stated that the prestigious honor bestowed upon the Governor and his wife is a testament to their integrity, people-oriented policies, and dedication to human capital development.
Atere highlighted Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership, which has led to significant progress in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic empowerment.
He added that such visionary governance has rightfully earned the Governor national and regional accolades, including this latest traditional recognition from the ancient and respected Akure Kingdom.
The chairman however expressed optimism that the chieftaincy title will inspire the Governor and the First Lady to continue their laudable service to the people.
