Makinde, Okonjo-Iweala in Addis Ababa 

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has been pictured together with the Director-General of World Trade Organisation, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala at the Africa Business Forum 2025 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Monday.

Governor Seyi Makinde stated on his verified Twitter page on Monday; “Earlier today, we attended the Africa Business Forum 2025 in Addis Ababa where I participated in a “Show and Tell” session to discuss what Oyo State is doing to create a conducive environment for investment and trade.”

He stated further; “As I said during my session, I believe UNECA has to do more to engage with subnational entities in Africa.”
