Upgraded Kishi College of Nursing Sciences to Offer Post Basic Courses – Alhaja Asiat Audu Speaks During Hon. Olayiwola’s Inspection of Laboratory Work

On Friday, 17th January, the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, inspected the ongoing upgrade of the laboratory undertaken by his administration to bring it up to date, at the Oyo State College of Nursing Sciences, Kishi Campus. During the inspection, Hon. Olayiwola praised the Oyo State Governor, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde the Deputy Governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal and the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abdulwaheed Soliu Adelabu, for their dedication to improving education in the state, including Irepo Local Government.

He emphasized the need for the school leadership to ensure that the upgraded laboratory fulfills its purpose of creating a conducive environment for learning and enhancing students’ academic experiences.

The Principal of the College, Alhaja Asiat Moronranti Audu, expressed her gratitude to Hon. Olayiwola for his visit and commended the Oyo State Government for the development efforts. She highlighted the significance of the school’s recent upgrade from a School of Midwifery to a College of Nursing, stating, “Instead of going to Oshogbo for Post Basic, they can now do it here.”

Present during the inspection were the Vice Principal, Mrs. Mulikat Modupe Akanmu, Engr Adeyemo Waheed, Mr. Osman Abdulrahman Adigun (Agbanwoli), and Mr. Saheed Mubarak Adesola.
