RE: Hon. Agboworin and the slave traders || Idris Ismail
Whoever called us illiterate in Ibadan is actually illiterate. Illiteracy is about reading and writing not speaking. Using the word illiterate for an Ibadan man is misnornal.
However if you meant educated or not , typical Ibadan speak the language of the land eloquently, understand the eulogy and history with near mastery. That is the definition of education it doesn’t have to be in another man’s language. Chinese does not apologize to anyone for getting educated in her mother’s tongue
What is the pride in proficiency in speaking language of slave master. Nonsense. Agboworin is communicating dividends of democracy eloquently to his constituents. He is making his efforts and impact loudly enough .
Nothing unfortunate about not proficient in foreign language, the misfortune is not being able to communicate in your mother tongue. Please esinmi rascality . Allow Agboworin deliver.
