Ogbomoso North LG Celebrates End-of-Year Party in Style
It was a day of joy and celebration at the Ogbomoso North Local Government Area as the council marked the end of another successful year.
The event, held in conjunction with the Administration General Services Department, was a testament to the council’s commitment to fostering unity and appreciation for its members.
Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, the council chairman, was in attendance, alongside other notable dignitaries, including Secretary Hon. Olaniyi Bolanle and Head of Administrative Local Government, Mr. Thomas Oguntona and Mrs O.O Faderanmi, director of admin and general services, director of Education and Social Services, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Bosede Bello.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter and cheer as staff and directors gathered to celebrate the occasion.
Mr. Oguntona delivered a heartfelt speech, congratulating retirees Mrs. Bello Ruth Olapeju, Mrs. Ayantoye Mariam Oluwatosin, Mrs. Fakorede Dorcas Oluwayemisi, and Mr. Olayide Olatunbosun Ajala on their new journey. He praised their dedication and service to the council, wishing them a peaceful and fulfilling retirement.
Hon. Ogunlade expressed his gratitude to the council for their love and support, emphasizing the importance of unity and joint effort for continued success. He encouraged staff and directors to continue working together, promoting a positive work environment and recognizing the contributions of all members.
The event was attended by notable attendees, including Chief of Staff Hon. Grace Areo, Deputy Leader Hon. Fatai Samura, Majority Leader Hon. Tewogbola Sikiru Diekola, and councilors Hon. Akano John Olatunde and Hon. Muritala Olayiwola. The celebration was a joyous occasion, filled with music, food, and laughter.
As the year comes to a close, Hon. Ogunlade wished staff and directors a happy Christmas and New Year, praying that the glory of the month would reach everyone before its end. He also prayed for the retirees to enjoy peaceful retirement, free from stress and worry.
