Happy 57th birthday to an icon of excellence, patriotic and service-oriented leader— Bayo Lawal extols Makinde

The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has penned a heartfelt birthday message to his boss, Seyi Makinde, describing him as an icon of excellence for his exceptional dedication and selfless service to humanity.

In addition, he said that Governor Makinde, who also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Governor’s Forum, nurtures those who work with him into becoming their best versions, adding that he is overly cautious and a strategic leader.

In a statement released today, the Deputy Governor noted that Governor Makinde’s selfless service to the people of Oyo state and Nigeria at large is a testament to his character and commitment.

He added that the Governor is a patriotic and service-oriented leader who has been deliberate in providing hope and development for the people of Oyo State.

Highlighting the noteworthy achievements his principal has made since taking office in 2019, Barr. Lawal said that his impact has been crucial in the development and expansion of the state that sets the pace.

The Deputy Governor stated: “Those who have worked with my boss for many years and are still working with him would say His Excellency is brilliant, a perfectionist, overly cautious, too intelligent, and highly strategic,” while maintaining that the Governor is a naturally born leader and a gift from God to the people of Oyo State.

“They always come to the conclusion that if you work with him, you are the best because he has a nose for excellence and is a man who firmly believes in the upbringing and development of hordes of young people who are leaders of tomorrow.

“You are a patriotic and service-oriented leader who has been deliberate in providing hope and development for the people of Oyo State.
