BREAKING: Governor’s aide arrested in Osun

Police in Osun State have arrested an aide of Governor Ademola Adeleke and Chairman of Osun State Park Management Scheme, Nurudeen Wakeel Alowonle.

According to a police source, Alowonle was arrested late on Monday night in Osogbo.

The source said he was arrested with a pistol.

“Yes please and a police pistol recovered from him.” The source said.

It was gathered that he is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Osogbo after he attempted to flee with handcuffs on him.

He’s currently at a hospital in Osogbo. After he was arrested, he attempted to flee with the handcuffs on him. That’s when he got injured.

According to InsightMedia, the acting spokesperson of the police command, ASP Emmanuel Giwa-Alade promised to get back when contacted.
