80,000 minimum wage: Ogunlade lauds Gov. Makinde, describes him as God sent
Following his approval of 80, 000 minimum wage to workers, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Ogunlade has described the Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, as a true God sent to the pacesetter state.
The chairman, in his congratulatory message on Thursday, noted that the Governor’s approval has demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of citizens, particularly those in Ogbomoso North Local Government.
He equally said that the bold move is a testament to his people-centered approach to governance.
He said: “Governor Makinde’s administration has prioritized economic development, focusing on agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure. The completion of key road projects, such as the Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road and the Oyo-Iseyin Road, has opened up rural areas and boosted agribusiness.
