Oyo student leaders pay courtesy call on Deputy Gov, Bayo Lawal

Comrade Oladipupo Olamide Daniel, the SUG President of Ibadan Polytechnic, and NANS JCC Executives paid a courtesy call on Oyo state Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal at his office on Monday.

The student leaders were led by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde on Students Matters, Comrade Victor Olojede. 

The visitors included Comrade Tiamiyu Taiwo Ademola, NANS JCC Chairman Oyo Chapter, Comrade Fadare Tolase Damilare, NANS JCC Gen Sec; Kareem Habeeb, NANC JCC Vice Chairman, Joseph Sunday M, NANS JCC AGS and Animasaun Azeezat who is the NANS JCC Welfare Director of Oyo state Chapter.

In his brief remarks, the Deputy Governor expressed gratitude for their visit and gave the assurance that the current administration under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde would continue to provide necessary support to improve the quality of education in the state.

He charged the student leaders to collaborate with the office of student matters on their need, adding that the administration will continue to have constant engagements with the Students’ Union bodies across the state to ensure stability in the sector.
