Kishi Might Have Transformed Long Ago If Someone Like TT Had Led Irepo LG in the Past, Says Iba of Kishi at KPU Mid-Year Meeting

The Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, on Saturday, attended the Kishi Progressive Union (KPU) Mid-Year General Meeting held at the Kishi Town Hall with his cabinets.

The National KPU Chairman, Alhaji Chief Pharm Bioku Rahman Jimoh (Bioraj), praised Hon. Olayiwola for his relentless efforts in fostering the development of the Kishi community.

In his address, Hon. Olayiwola reflected on his achievements within five months in office, notably his strides in curbing insecurity in Kishi and surrounding areas. He also pledged ongoing collaboration between the Local Government, the Palace, and the KPU, emphasizing their collective importance in driving community growth.

His Royal Highness, the Iba of Kishi, Oba Engr. Dr. Moshood Oyekola Aweda Lawal (JP), expressed his gratitude for the Chairman’s dedication. “Kishi might have transformed long ago if someone like TT had led Irepo Local Government in the past,” the monarch said.

The Vice Chairman, Hon Sunday Olanipekun Oyewole, the Leader of the House, Hon Soliu Sarafadeen Ayinde (Sasay) and all the Councillors, the Irepo LG Secretary, Hon Muhammad Jamiu Abdul-Baqi, Irepo LG CoS, Hon Prince Rasaq Jelil Adewale, Irepo PDP Chairman, Hon Hassan Ismail Odejide Baade, all Supervisory Councillors, all SAs and many others followed the Chairman to bless the occasion.
