Oyo Deputy Governor visits Oba Ladoja at 80
Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has felicitated with the former Governor of Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
The Deputy Governor who arrived at his Bodija residence on Wednesday evening, was warmly received by Ladoja’s family members and supporters who were excited to see him.
He was accompanied by Oyo government functionaries including the chairman of OYSROMA, Hon. Busoye Ogunlade.
The visit, which is the first of its kind since the 2023 governorship election, comes just few hours after Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, paid a visit to the Ondo Street, Bodija, Ibadan.
Makinde noted that despite everything the octogenarian had done for the state, he still had a lot of roles to play in the state.
The Deputy Governor, however, commended Senator Ladoja for his leadership and accomplishments to the state, pointing out that the former governor had an extraordinary career that included becoming an Oba in Ibadanland in addition to being a senator.
He claimed that his accomplishments in business, politics, and traditional leadership make his life an inspiration.
The Deputy Governor wished him long life and prosperity in good health.
