Akinjide felicitates Ladoja at 80, describes him as ‘Iconic and Traditional leader’

The former Minister of State for FCT, Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, has felicitated the former Governor of Oyo State and the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja on his milestone 80th birthday.

In her congratulatory message on Wednesday, Akinjide described Ladoja as a worthy son and ambassador of Ibadanland.

She expressed her unalloyed gratitude to the God Almighty for spearing his life to witness his 80th birthday celebration.

The Oyo PDP chieftain who equally described the former governor as an iconic and traditional leader, said his impact in politics, governance and traditional institution has continued to be a source of emulation for those behind him.

According to her, Senator Ladoja remains a political leader to many politicians within and outside the state and upcoming ones with his landmark legacies as a parliamentarian of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and governor of the pace setter state.

She commended Ladoja’s love of harmony and peace in Ibadanland as well as his dedication to promoting and preserving Ibadan cultural legacy, pointing out that he has established a reputation as an astute politician, an industrialist, and an elder statesman.

She added that High Chief Ladoja is nothing but a profound Omoluabi who would always be relevant in the political sphere and traditional institution.
