Engineer Muftau Open Salawu, the chairman of the Oyo State Project Performance Monitoring Agency, has reiterated that the current administration, led by Governor Seyi Makinde, will continue to provide an enabling environment to attract investors into the state.
The Chairman made this statement a few days ago while monitoring some projects at the Fashola Agribusiness hub, Oyo.
He equally called on the citizens to support the government’s efforts to ensure food security, pointing out that the Makinde administration is well-positioned to ameliorate hunger in the land.
Addressing journalists during the inspection, Engr. Open Salawu clarified that the purpose of the Agency’s visit to the Fasola Agribusiness Hub Oyo, was not only to inspect a few of the hub’s projects but also to send a message to interested investors that the state government is doing everything possible to develop the agribusiness hub to a world standard.
According to him, investors have their funds secured, with a hub which can boast of facilities such as industrial warehouses, good road network, adequate security, farm machinery for hiring, among others.
The chairman, however, called on more investors to take the opportunity provided by the Makinde led administration to also invest in the hub.
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the chairman with his team had earlier inspected some on-going projects in the hub, which included the Quarters and the Administration block, the Gulf house and workshop, as well as the Crest and some farm houses that were being renovated with the project consultant who conducted him round.
