Irepo LG Chairman, Olayiwola Donates Motorcycles to Vigilantes to Combat Insecurity

In a significant steps to address insecurity in the community, the Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola has donated four new Bajaj motorcycles to the Kishi Vigilante Groups (KVG).

The motorcycles, aimed at enhancing the patrolling capabilities of the Kishi Vigilante Groups (KVG), was inspected by the national and home branches of the KPU following a meeting with the Council Chairman on Friday. 

Olayiwola, in a statement made available to newsmen by his media aide, Salaudeen Abdulmuiz, emphasized the importance of supporting the vigilantes to maintain peace in Kishi and its environs. 

He added that the motorcycles would be essential for effective patrolling and rapid response.

In his remarks, the KPU National President, Alh. Bioku Rahman Jimoh (Bioraj), expressed his gratitude for the Chairman’s ongoing support and commitment to the community. 

He highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Local Government, Palace, and the KPU in ensuring the security and prosperity of Kishiland.
