SMATO felicitates Oyo First Lady, Tamunominini Makinde at 52

Federal Constituency, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola Smato has congratulated the Oyo state First Lady Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Makinde, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary, describes her as a wonderful wife and quintessential pillar of support to women and youths.

According to him, since the inception of the Omituntun administration as Oyo’s first lady, Mrs. Makinde has shown a strong sense of dedication and enthusiasm for the welfare of the downtrodden.

He asserted that the spirited vigour and unwavering devotion she brought to bear in support of her darling husband to become Oyo Governor and now Vice Chairman of Nigeria Governor’s Forum will forever linger in the memory.

The lawmaker equally commended the First Lady for being a steadfast pillar of support for Governor Makinde in his efforts to develop a robust state economy, noting that it is obvious that the Governor’s string of successes has been because he has a supportive wife.

While urging her to continue setting examples for women in leadership and governance, he added that her approach to issues affecting women and children in Oyo State is uplifting, highlighting her status as the mother of the state.

He said: “I heartily rejoice with a responsive woman, a strong pillar of support to our Governor in the quest to advance our state’s development, and a woman who has had a good impact on the lives of many.

“You are a true mother of the state, as seen by your heartfelt approach to issues affecting women and children in Oyo State, as well as your enthusiasm and dedication to improving the living conditions of the least fortunate in our society.

“You are a remarkable woman; the degree of achievement that your spouse, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, has achieved in more than five years of his leadership, is entirely attributable to you.

“May Almighty God continue to spare your life to witness many more years of joy, peace, sound health, and God’s benevolence in every aspect of your life,” I wish you on this birthday.”
