OYO PENSION: Seyi Makinde’s midas touch and unparallel wave on pensioners’ welfare By Chairman LGPB Ademola Ige
The reward for diligence, industrious, and dedication to career is nothing but a happy ending.
In the last five years of his administration, Gov. Seyi Makinde has better the lots of pensioners in the state in term of gratuity and their monthly arrears. This is no more news.
The pensioners in the state lead by Mr. Segun Abatan have continued to express their profound gratitude to the administration of Seyi Makinde for resuscitating the dilapidated structure of the pension state in the state. Apart from paying the pension regularly, he also increased it to make lives liveable for them and got them off the hook of dependence on their children.
Gov. Seyi Makinde’s has prioritised the welfare of the pensioners as promised during his first tenure, and he has never reneged on fulfilling the promises.
The current administration lead by Gov. Seyi Makinde will not cease to put a smile on the faces of the workers and retirees as they remain the bedrock for state development. They serve as state machineries in which the government leverage on income. So for this, their efforts towards making the state great won’t be in vain during and after their service.
Pensioners’ welfare under Gov. Seyi Makinde will be historic and legacy that will be point of reference. This achievement hitherto on pensioners has spoken voluminous about his landslide achievements in all sections of government.
