Ogbomosho North Chairman, George Ogunlade charges Council staff to strive for Excellence
Chairman of Ogbomosho North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has charged staffers at the council to strive for excellence, stating that his administration is committed to the development of the Council.
Ogunalde, who gave the charge on Tuesday at a meeting facilitated by the Council information officer, Mr Seyi Morakinyo, said Oyo Governor, Seyi Makinde, will continue to prioritize workers welfare.
He urged the staff to continue maintaining high standard of punctuality and be commitment to their duties, promising to ensure that any resources or benefits allocated to the council be properly and fairly distributed, and to the people who actually deserve them.
Ogunalde equally encouraged the staff to support his administration in accomplishing its goals for the development of the council and community while praising them for their dedication and commitment to service since assuming office.
In their separate remarks, the NULGE Chairman, Mr. Abiodun Ajao, and the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Oguntona Thomas Oladele, commended the efforts and commitment of the local government staff and tasked them with carrying on their good work for the progress of the community and the council.
They commended the chairman for his proactive step in addressing the challenges faced by ad-hoc staff immediately after assuming office.
At the meeting included Vice Chairmen, Hon. Salawu Taofeek Adigun, Mr. Popoola Olakunle, Leader of the House, Hon. Areo Grace, Chief of Staff, Mr. Ajala Babatunde Johnson, P.A to the Chairman, Comr. Alade Toheeb, Chief Media Aide.
Others were Career Officers from both the LCDA (Local Council Development Area) and the main Council as well as officials from various Departments and Units of the Council.
