Irepo councillors elect Sasay as House leader

Hon. Saliu Sarafadeen Ayinde, *popularly known as Hajj Sasay, has been elected as the House Leader of the Irepo Legislative Council.

Representing Ward 05, Hon. Sasay’s election was unanimously affirmed by the council members during a peaceful session.

Sasay, who is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology*, is well-known for his philanthropic contributions and commitment to community development.

His new role is anticipated to drive substantial progress in legislative discussions and initiatives aimed at advancing the Kishi community.

The House equally elected Jimoh Ibrahim oyekola
as Deputy leader while Azeez Tajudeen kosalapata was elected as Majority leader and Ashiru Lukman Benya emerged as the Chief whip.
