PHOTOS: Comr. Alao Segun Oluwatobi Donates to Motherless Homes to Mark Birthday

As part of activities marking his birthday anniversary, Comrade Alao Segun has donated food, cash and edible items to orphans at the Kersey Children Home, Oke Baby, Ogbomoso, Oyo state.

Oluwatobi, who visited the motherless home on Tuesday alongside the Ogbomoso North Chairman Elect, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, Mrs. Bimpe Oyegbile, Alhaji Bashiru, Oyedele Frederick and Alade Toheeb, equally presented the orphans with befitting luxurious gifts.

It would be recalled that it has been the custom of the comrade from time immemorial, to celebrate his birthday with less privileged, motherless home, aged people among others in appreciation of God’s favor upon his life.

During the presentation, Oluwatobi declared that identifying with the orphans to mark his birthday remains one of the obligations he can offer to uplift humanity.

Noting that the celebration of his birthday with motherless homes and less privileged uplifts his hearts, he stressed that such goes a long way in giving hope of a better tomorrow to the orphans.

While expressing his desire to share his special day with the less privileged annually, particularly the homeless children, he promised to keep checking on them and also supporting them.

However, in his remarks, the Ogbomoso North Chairman Elect, Hon. Ogunlade, who commended Comr. Segun for his selfless act, noted that it was a testament to his good character and commitment to giving back to the community.

According to him, whatever little you can do for humanity, whatever you can do for anybody, do it irrespective of the season, it doesn’t matter whether it’s your birthday or whatever, it is not only during his birthday that he donates to people.

Ogunlade emphasized the need to be our neighbours’ keepers, charging other youths in Ogbomoso North local government to always extend to other people whatever God has given to them.

The celebration was a huge success, bringing joy and happiness to the faces of the children and the staff of the motherless homes.
