LAUTECH: EEE Class 05 alumni donates Antenna Trainer Kits to department
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that class 05 alumni association of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, has procured Antenna Trainer Kits for Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE).
This was contained in a letter addressed to the Head of the Department of EER and signed by Class 05 General Secretary Engr. Olaniyi Olayiwola, in which a copy of the letter was made available to our correspondent on Thursday.
It reads: “We are delighted to inform you that our association has recently procured Antenna Trainer Kits with the aim of supporting quality education for the students in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education.
“These kits are designed to enhance the learning experience of students studying antenna theory and design, providing them with practical hands-on training that complements their theoretical knowledge.”
MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that the kits were presented to Professor Fola A. Semire, the head of the department of electronics and electrical engineering by the class 05 general secretary, Engr. Olayiwola.
In his words: “These kits will greatly benefit the students by providing them with valuable practical skills and insights into the field of antenna engineering.
“We are grateful for the ongoing collaboration between our association and the department, and we lookforward to continuing to work together to support the academic excellence and professional development of our students.
“Thank you for considering our request. We are confident that together, we can make a positive impact on the education and future prospects of the students at Ladoke AkintolaUniversity of Technology”.
At the ceremony included the Global secretary, Prof Azeem Ige and the public relation officer, Dr. J. Babalola.
