Executive Assistant on Finance, Budget and Economic Planning Commends Governor Makinde’s Giant Strides in Office

The Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Finance, Budget and Economic Planning Hon. Ghaffar Bello has disclosed that the giant strides of Governor Makinde 5th year in office is commendable.

In a statement issued and signed in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, he hinted that the accelerated IGR and sustainable development of the state by the present administration is a huge success and blessing to the people of the State.

The Executive Assistant said efforts are in top gear to renovate public schools across the State as education is one of the strong pillar of the State Government.

He said Governor Makinde has promoted eco-friendly urban planning, incorporating green spaces and environmentally conscious designs, ensuring a livable and resilient urban environment.

He appreciated the Governor for his leadership style, describing him as a true democrat who listens to the opinions and views of all party members.

According to the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, “Governor Makinde has been able to connect all the zones in the state with good road networks. Through the Moniya-Iseyin road, Ibadan zone has been connected to the Oke-Ogun zone; through the Oyo-Iseyin road, Oyo zone has been linked to Oke-Ogun zone; through the ongoing Ogbomoso-Fapote-Iseyin road, Ogbomoso zone is being linked to Oke-Ogun zone; and through the Ido-Eruwa road, Ibadan zone is linked to Ibarapa zone”.

He added further that the State Government would complete the on-going infrastructural projects across the State which according to him would contribute immensely to the economic growth of the State.

He then commended the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for making Oyo State the number one investment destination in Nigeria with the creation of employment opportunities for the teeming youths.
