5th Year Anniversary: SMATO lauds Gov. Makinde’s developmental strides

Member representing Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Makanjuola Smato, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde, on the first anniversary of his second term in office.

SMATO, who is the Deputy Chairman House Committee of Solid Minerals and Chairman House Committee on Friendship Group to Pakistan, said the accomplishments of the Governor in the last five years, have in fact demonstrated that the state has maintained its Pacesseter position.

According to him, Governor Makinde has moulded a more promising future where every citizen thrives and reaches their full potential.

Noting that the Governor has remained focused, accountable and effective since inception of his administration in 2019, the lawmaker said his impactful leadership has not only resulted in the development of Oyo State but has also made the state the most sought-after destination for investors. 

While expressing gratitude to the good people of Oyo State for electing such a transformative leader again in 2023, Hon. SMATO praised the Governor for building on the projects of his predecessors and establishing a strong foundation that would undoubtedly lessen the burden of governance for the state’s incoming administrations.
